Climate change is the definite issue of our times and the challenge can addressed by each of us. The moment the climate change is addressed, the first thing that struck our mind is CO2(Carbon dioxide).
Carbon emission, carbon footprint, carbon neutral, low carbon, carbon sequestration, carbon offset, carbon credit, zero carbon, carbon economy, carbon capture and storageā¦..!
So much talk on carbon.
This is because carbon dioxide is the most notable greenhouse gas responsible for the current warming of the earth. This leads to a disruptive change in climate. Levels of CO2 in atmosphere is building up. This is because carbon dioxide is released, mainly, as a byproduct when fosil fuels (coal, diesel, petrol, gasoline, natural gas) are used to produce electricity, to extract, and to process ores and other raw materials, to manufacture goods, and in transportation.
Let us contribute our part to stop the disruption of climate. This can just be done by changing our life style and encouraging individuals to reflect on lifestyle choices which ultimately determines dealing eith climate change.
Everyday choices like taking a bus or a train instead of a car, buying an energy efficient gadget or walking or cycling short distances indeed contributes to bringing down carbon content in environment.
Bottom line:
